INTRODUCTION

Casey’s Health Help Inc (CHHI) owns the site of www.CaseysHealthHelp.com and cares about individual privacy.  We recognize the importance of privacy and security and we have developed and adopted an on-line policy which provides ethical guidelines as to how we collect, store, use and disclose any information we receive from you through this website.  

THE SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY CODE

This Privacy Code describes the principles CHHI will use to protect the privacy of personal information in its possession or control.

THE PRINCIPLES OF PRIVACY

   1.   CHHI’s Accountability

CHHI is accountable for all personal information in its possession or control including any personal information transferred to third parties for processing.  CHHI has established policies and procedures to comply with this Privacy Code. 


   2.   Identifying the Purposes for Collecting Personal Information

The purpose for which personal information will be used is to allow CHHI to provide you existing products and services and to update you regarding new services, events and products. 

In addition, individuals will be allowed to voluntarily submit “Living Wellness” moments and stories.  These stories may be used in future printed material or shared at speaking engagements without any monetary compensation.   CHHI will make every possible attempt to change any identifying circumstances so that the voluntary submitter is not identified.  By following the submission procedure, an individual consents to have their moment or story used as agreed to and fully understands that the moment or story will remain the property of CHHI.    

Any personal information to be collected will be identified to the individual before the information is collected.


   3.   Obtaining Consent

CHHI will obtain consent from the individual when it collects personal information by allowing that individual to review the information requested and then having them agree to submit it to CHHI.

An individual will be deemed to have granted consent to the use of their personal information (for example, receiving newsletters and updates or having their “Living Wellness” stories and/ or moments used in printed or published material or cited in speaking engagements with every attempt to exclude identifying circumstances) by following the procedures outlined when the information is submitted.  Any submitted material is considered the property of CHHI.

An individual will always be given the opportunity to decline any future interactions with CHHI and to unsubscribe to the CASEY’S newsletter.   


   4.   Limits for Collecting Personal Information

CHHI limits the type and amount of personal information it collects to that which is necessary for the identified purposes.

CHHI will collect information on a voluntary basis.  Information such as name, home address, telephone number and email address will be collected to access certain features that require registration or to receive the CASEY’S newsletter.

Individuals using credit cards to purchase products or services will be required to provide additional information such as a valid credit card number and expiration date.

CHHI does not share personal information with third parties.

CHHI does not require the above listed personal information for individuals to gain access to our site.


   5.   Limits for Using, Disclosing and Keeping Personal Information

CHHI will use or disclose personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected unless the individual gives consent to use or disclose it for another reason.

CHHI will retain personal information for as long as the individual is an active subscriber.     


   6.   Accuracy

The personal information collected by CHHI shall be updated as provided to us by the individual.   


   7.   Safeguarding Personal Information

CHHI protects personal information with safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.  A cookie is a text containing information about the user and it is stored on the user’s hard drive.  The information collected by cookies can assist and expedite the log on process to the website.  They are also used to help CHHI obtain information (not personal information) about the visitors.  The website visitor can set their browser to reject all cookies and still visit the website of CHHI.

   9.   Individual Access

Upon request, an individual shall be informed regarding what personal information is shared and how his or her personal information is used.
