PETS ARE IMPORTANT TO LIVING WELLNESS
Why does Casey’s have Pet Pages?
As a child, my pets were an important part of my family. I was much younger than my siblings, almost like an only child, and my pets were company to me. I remember sitting on the lawn reading a book many times with my dog and several cats around me. The sun would be shining and they would be sprawled out content to be with me and warm from the sun. I don’t think I appreciated that level of contentment as a child. Today I have a deep appreciation of their contentment and how they make the most of the moment when I see my pets enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Pets provide a sense of serenity and comfort in our home. They are often the hub of our family activities and an important part of Living Wellness.
I have provided Living Wellness Reconstruction therapy in many homes over the past twelve years. I met pets of every size and description. I also had the opportunity to observe the important roles pets played in the family and how they accented the wellbeing of the family. Unfortunately, I also observed that some pets were not as lucky. They were not treated with dignity and respect and were often considered a burden. Because pets have a soft spot in my heart, I always wanted to do some little thing to celebrate pets and to offer tips to care for them easier and better.
Casey’s Pet Pages will start out with the pictures of our pets and their stories. We are hoping that soon the visitors to our website will share their pet pictures and also their stories of how their pets are part of their Living Wellness.
WE WANT TO HELP CONNECT PET OWNERS AND PET PROFESSIONALS WHO HAVE SIMILAR PET LIVING WELLNESS PHILOSOPHIES. We are encouraging veterinarians and other pet professionals who believe that pets deserve Living Wellness and that pets are part of our Living Wellness to contact us. We will post the list of these proactive, caring professionals in our pet wellness column that will appear in our Casey's Newsletter. Casey’s would welcome a tip or advice that promotes pet wellness and we will gladly share it in the Casey's Newletter.
